in my previous session, i rewrote the first page four fucking times bc it's so hard to get the tone and the language right considering i barely read any fantasy. but, after two weeks away and having suddenly indulged in many a book (thanks to a week of national holidays!), i've been able to unstick myself in the story!
writing progress remains slow, but that's okay because this is my Brain Baby and i will be Damned if i don't raise it right. in this moment i have a clear picture of how i want the scene to unfold, but maybe that's bc i'm fueled by inspiration rn. i finally got some more exposition and some dialogue woven through the action without making it seem unnatural! i'm enjoying this writing sesh!
i still have to flesh aseri's character out considering all she's doing rn is being absolutely Terrified that a deity suddenly appeared in front of her, but at least i got the backstory down.
next is for me to finally add the scene of the prompt that started this spiral of bastardized-sundanese pantheons
edit: besides reading lots of fiction and some non-fiction today, i also played a LOT of genshin and i'm lowkey emabrrassed that genshin keeps running through my head (as part of my inspo? my muse?) while i write the scenes. brainrot
